Baa Bahoo Aur Infant (colloquially known equally BBB or B3 ) (transl. Overview
An old woman named Godavari Thakkar lives with her husband, her viii children, their spouses and her grandchildren. Godavari is the matriarch of the family. The family faces many problems. All of them overcome their daily bug together while living happily as a joint family.
Godavari Thakkar a.grand.a. Baa is the matriarch of the Thakkar family. Her husband, Labhshankar Thakkar, is an alcoholic and theatre actor, but a loving husband and father. Although he drinks alcohol, Godavari believes that one day he volition modify himself. She has raised six sons and two daughters on her own, through tiffin service. The family lives in Krishna villa.
Godavari has 6 sons: Arvind, a strict and old fashioned insurance agent; Praveen, a mischievous and stingy saree man of affairs; Subodh, a playful theater histrion; Harshad, a successful doctor; Gopal a.grand.a. Gattu, an intellectually disabled kid; and Hemal, the adopted son who works at a bank.
Godavari has two daughters: Charubala and Radhika a.g.a. Baby. Charubala is a sophisticated woman who always shows off. She is married to Tushar and lives in South Bombay. Radhika is handicapped (affected with polio) and a very stubborn girl who is often seen talking rudely, just loves her family and understands life.
The family as well includes her daughter-in-laws, Leela, Arvind'southward playful wife; Praveena, Praveen's wife who is naughty, athletic and a saree businesswoman (who is dead); Shilpa, Harshad's wife and a md; Meenakshi, the shy wife of Subodh and; Gurinder a.yard.a. Gudiya, the Punjabi wife of Hemal.
Amidst the children are Dimple and Jigar, grown up children of Arvind and Leela; Mehul, Mitali and Chaitali, children of Praveen and Praveena; Simran and Khushi, daughters of Charubala and Tushar; Saloni and Saumil, children of Harshad and Shilpa; Manav and Disha, children of Subodh and Meenakshi, and Lucky, the adopted daughter of Hemal and Gurinder.

Plot
Season i
The season begins with a detailed introduction of all the members of the household and how they deal with all the issues impacting a joint family structure. Leela and Arvind are virtually to go to United States as Dimple is pregnant. Praveen's children are all grown upwardly and pursuing their careers. Harshad and Shilpa open a motherhood home in Godavari's name. Meenakshi is expecting her third child. Gudiya has had twin daughters. A breakthrough in polio treatment has helped Baby to recover from her polio. Birju and Radhika have a son named Aahan. Rimjhim has started a family catering business organisation known every bit 'Thakkar Caterers'. - Sarita Joshi as Godavari "Baa" Thakkar. She is the matriarch of the Thakkar family. She is a strict, stubborn, loving and caring adult female. She has half dozen sons and ii daughters. If someone disobeys her, or interruptes in her conversation, she says- 'Koi behes nahi karega, jo behes karega vo sidha ghar se bahar jayega.' To that, her son Gopal ever replies 'Aise..aise karke....' (while showing actions through his mitt). She likewise has a catchphrase- "Kuch nahi sikhaya maa-baap ne, bas bhej diya!" She is secretly chosen Mogambaa, Jog Maya etc. past a few members of the family unit due to their frustration on her.
- Arvind Vaidya as Labhshankar "Bapuji" Thakkar. He is Godavari's husband, a jolly and fun loving man who loves his family, a theatre player and the patriarch of the family, only for saying equally he was an alcoholic man. He often sings the famous song of the picture Mughal-e-Azam 'More panghat pe....Nandlaal chedh gayo re....' He always teases Arvind to effort and make Arvind talk to him, every bit Arvind never talks to him directly due to his addiction of drinking. - Deven Bhojani as Gopal "Gattu" Thakkar. He is Godavari and Labhshankar's youngest (ain) son. He is a foodie and an intellectually disabled child. He is also a great fan and admirer of actress Rani Mukherjee and e'er says that he wants to marry her afterward she finishes all her films' shootings.
- Rajeev Mehta as Arvind Thakkar. He is Godavari and Labhshankar's eldest son. He is an ill-tempered, strict and erstwhile-fashioned insurance agent. He mostly (even on special occasions like spousal relationship) wears his checks-designed shirt. He always thinks most his brothers and sisters earlier himself. He obeys Baa at any signal of time and say "Baa kabhi galat nahi hoti hai."
- Lubna Salim / Anjali Mukhi as Leela Thakkar (née Raichura) She is Arvind's married woman. She came from a rich family and always insistes on having imported things in the house.
- Paresh Ganatra as Praveen Thakkar. Praveen is Godavari and Labhshankar'due south second son. He is a stingy saree businessman.
- Vaishali Thakkar every bit Praveena Thakkar. She was Praveen'due south wife. She was a very strict female parent and always got angry when her kids wreaked havoc in the house. She died in the crash of a building.

- Navika Kotia as Lucky Thakkar. She is Gurinder'southward niece. After her mother (Gurinder'due south sis) died, Hemal and Gurinder adopted Lucky and raised her as their own girl.

The series was filmed at Swathi Studio in Goregaon, Mumbai.[10]
In Nov 2008, the shootings and telecast of all the Hindi television series including this serial and films were stalled on viii November 2008 due to dispute by the technician workers of FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) for increasing the wages, better work conditions and more breaks between shootings.[11] FWICE showtime took a strike on 1 October 2008 when they addressed their bug with the producers and production was stalled.[12] A contract was signed later on iv days discussions, and shooting was happening simply for two hours per twenty-four hours, after which differences increased between them while channels gave them time until xxx October 2008 to sort it out.[xiii] Failing to exercise so led to protests over again from 10 Nov 2008 to 19 Nov 2008, during which channels blacked out new broadcasts and repeat telecasts were shown from 10 November 2008.[thirteen] [14] On xix November 2008, the strike was chosen off afterwards settling the disputes and the production resumed.[15] The new episodes started to telecast from 1 December 2008.[16]
